Definitions: 
Massage: the application of touch by one person to another, using manual techniques of rubbing, stroking, kneading or compression (effleurage, petrissage, vibration, friction or tapotement), when done to produce relaxation, pain relief, injury rehabilitation, athletic preparedness or recovery, health improvement, increased awareness or pleasure works on all levels of mind, body, emotion and spirit.
Body work: Includes such hands on therapies or modalities such as Shiatsu, Trager, Rolfing, Polarity, Reiki and at least 60 others.
Ear Candling: an age-old remedy, many nations have used the method for 1,000's of years. Ancient Egyptians employed reeds in this technique, Native Americans used cornhusks, dipping them in beeswax to make a hollow candle. The process was also known in ancient India, Tibet, and in Aztec cultures.  Ear Candling was originally used for purification prior to or as part of ancient rites of initiation. It was used to assist in opening the body's spiritual centers, thus cleaning and cleansing the spiritual body through the physical.  Ear Candling is given it's name because the practitioner uses a hollow waxed cloth candle, rolled on a spiral and tapered at one end. The process can assist in removing ear wax and may improve the following conditions: sinus problems, sore throat, ear ache, swimmer's ear, some chronic headaches, allergies and hearing difficulty.
Craniosacral Therapy: We are all familiar with the body’s cardiac rhythm (heartbeat) and the respiratory rhythm (breathing). Craniosacral therapy works with another less familiar rhythm. It is the craniosacral rhythm that results from the increase and decrease in the volume of the cerebrospinal fluid in and around the craniosacrum system (cranium/head and tailbone and spine) A cranial therapist is trained to “palpate” or feel with his or her hands the motion of the craniosacral system as a unified, integrated movement. The touch is extremely gentle and sensitve, and one is able to diagnose the movement of the system as a whole by locating critical points of restriction in the cranium. This therapy is designed to work with the entire structure, physiology, mind and spirit, and is used widely in many therapeutic applications.
